Impressions after the holidays

**Den:** John! Dude, long time no see! How was your summer? I heard you went to Italy!

**John:** Den! Yeah, it was amazing! You won't believe it. I spent the whole summer with my grandma in Tuscany.

**Den:** No way! That sounds incredible. What did you do there?

**John:** Everything! We visited Florence, Siena, even went to the coast. Grandma knows all the hidden gems. I ate so much pasta, I think I gained like, ten pounds.

**Den:** (Laughing) Sounds like my kind of vacation! I went to Turkey with my family.

**John:** Oh, cool! Where in Turkey?

**Den:** We spent a week in Istanbul, then went down to Antalya. It was super hot, but the beaches were beautiful.

**John:** Nice! Did you do any sightseeing?

**Den:** Yeah, we saw the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, all the touristy stuff. But we also explored the local markets, ate some amazing kebabs.

**John:** Awesome! I've always wanted to go to Turkey.

**Den:** You should! It's a great mix of culture and relaxation. Plus, it's pretty affordable.

**John:** Good to know. So, what was the highlight of your trip?

**Den:** Tough call. Istanbul was incredible, so much history. But I think chilling on the beach in Antalya was my favorite part. Just relaxing, swimming, soaking up the sun.

**John:** I feel you. My highlight was probably visiting this tiny little winery in the countryside. The wine was amazing, and the scenery was just breathtaking.

**Den:** Sounds perfect. So, did you bring back any souvenirs?

**John:** Of course! I got you something, actually. (Pulls out a small bottle of olive oil)

**Den:** Dude, that's awesome! Thanks! I got you this little Turkish lamp. It's kinda cool. (Pulls out the lamp)

**John:** Sweet! That'll look great in my room. So, ready for another year of studies?

**Den:** (Sighs) I guess so. But I'm already thinking about next summer!

**John:** Me too! Maybe we can plan a trip together next time.

**Den:** Definitely! Let's do it.
