The Friendship of Rosie and Sheldon

Rosie the rabbit was a bundle of energy. She loved to run and jump and play all day long. Sheldon the squirrel was much more cautious. He preferred to climb trees and gather nuts. Rosie and Sheldon lived in the same forest, but they never really talked to each other.

One day, Rosie was playing near Sheldon's favorite tree when she saw a group of mean foxes. The foxes were trying to catch Sheldon! Rosie knew she had to help. Even though she and Sheldon weren't friends, she couldn't let the foxes hurt him.

Rosie ran towards the foxes, making as much noise as she could. The foxes were surprised and scared by the sudden commotion. They turned and ran away. Sheldon was safe!

Sheldon was so grateful to Rosie for saving him. He realized that even though they were different, they could still be friends. From that day on, Rosie and Sheldon were the best of friends. They played together, they shared nuts, and they always looked out for each other.
