### **Rule 1: “sikit” vs “sikit je”**
* sikit = a little
* sikit je = just a little, very casual
Example:
* Saya lapar sikit. = I’m a little hungry.
* Saya lapar sikit je. = I’m just a bit hungry.

### **Rule 2: “punya” to show emphasis**
Used in spoken Malay to stress ownership/emotion.
Example:
* Itu saya punya! = That’s mine!
* Ini awak punya kerja ke? = Is this your work?

### **Rule 3: “kalau” = if**
* Kalau hujan, kita duduk sini. = If it rains, we stay here.
* Kalau sempat, kita keluar. = If there’s time, we go out.
